Is it possible to remove dents from white painted appliances?

I just purchased a new washer and dryer. There are 3 small dents on the top of the washer. Even though I did get a good discount, I’m finding that they really bug me. I read one response that you can remove dents from stainless steel appliances using heat then dry ice. Will this work on white appliances too?

I very carefully measure the internal temperature of the steaks I cook at home and the closest I get to rare is about medium rare. How do restaurants cook steaks to the correct temperature and still come out with a great rare steak? I want actual tips I can use at home to make a rare steak. My hubby loves his steak rare, but I never get it rare enough for him. Directions from anyone who use to cook in a restaurant, please?

I am looking to understand my heating ductwork better, so I can try and improve the force of air on my second floor. I have forced hot air heat in the house, and the 2 bedrooms upstairs heat up, but the force of air is negligable compared to the 1st floor and the cellar heating vents.

What kind of advertising do folks out there like to receive? Obviously I could hire someone, but I’m all about doing this myself. How can I get out there..what works, what doesn’t?

Why is my forced-hot-water system heating when the circulator pump is not running?

I have a forced-hot-water heating system with three zones, first floor, second floor, and water tank. After some maintenance on the system the second floor is constantly heating, even though the thermostat is off. I checked the voltage on the circulator pump and it is zero, so the pump is not running. It sounds like it is acting like a gravity-fed system. There are manual valves on the system, but the only things in the loops that are controlled by the thermostats are the circulator pumps. Do the pumps act as valves when they are not pumping? That was my guess so I replaced the pump, but my registers are still hot. If the pump does NOT act as a valve, what is supposed to prevent the hot water from moving through the system when the pumps are not running? I need some HVAC basics here. Thanks!
