  • Why are some restaurants a success and others arent?

I used to work for this restaurant with a super clean kitchen, cheap prices, good food, and very well decorated. I quit ‘coz it was depressing how it was always empty. I see many restaurants with bad food, expensive, and doubtful hygiene. Why do some restaurants attract more people even if they aren’t that good?

The vintage cars must have been very cold to drive during the winter. What year and what automobile had the first heating system to keep the passengers warm? I can’t find anything on the Internet.

When remodeling a kitchen, should you tile under the cabinets and appliances?

I am tearing out all of the cabinets and removing all of the appliances from the room regardless. I have seen people set the cabinets on the subfloor and tile up to them as well as tile underneath before setting the cabinets. Same with appliances. Which is the proper way, assuming the room is completely cleared out to start with. I do understand the added cost of tiling the entire floor under cabinets and appliances, however I am asking for the correct way, not necessiarly the most cost effective way. Thanks.

How could internet advertising be made better?

I know that nobody LIKES advertising. I agree that the advertising out there sucks and is annoying. So… That’s my question. Assuming that we aren’t going to pay for all the web sites we use, how could online advertising be changed to be a better experience for users AND more valuable for advertisers so they want to buy it?

How close to a heating vent ( heating/AC duct can I install an electrical receptacle in a wall?

I want to install an AC outlet next to stud that is to the left of a heating/AC duct in a basement. There is no drywall or wall paneling here. Can I do this or is there a code where all electrical outlets must be X amount of inches away from heating/AC duct. Note that a 2/4 stud is separating the duct.

How to remove cooking oil from my coat?

So I just pulled out my Aero track jacket and realized that there was some cooking oil on the sleeve, a rather large amount actually. So I sprayed some Goo Gone on it and pre-treated it with Shout and then washed it. However, that didn’t do much at all. Anyone have any good remedies to get cooking oil out of clothes? The jacket is white by the way.

What could be the problem with my central heating?

    May 29, 2010 by MrAuthor

We have just switched our central heating on for the first time this winter and none of the radiators in the house are working, upstairs or down. We have gas central heating, but not one of those boilers which fires when you need water (not sure what it is called). Also, none of the radiators have points to bleed them at. They have a temperature control at one end and a random one at the other which doesn’t seem to do anything. Help? Edit : Some radiators have bleed points. Some don’t. Just clarifying that when I say first time, I mean first time since last winter.
