Electrical energy produced by a generator is transferred to the devices, then does these appliances have motors inside them? which get electrical energy and provide mechanical energy for their motion?
Then can we say that basically the motors are always needed? what about a light bulb? How come this conversion of electrical into light energy takes place?

If you want to move something then a motor is ideal. However many things do not have motors including light bulbs, heaters, TVs, radios. In lighting, energy is converted into heat by passing electricity through a filament. This makes it glow white hot. In an energy saver lamp a spark is passed through a low pressure gas. This excites the gas to make UV light and this is converted down to visible light by a fluorescent coating which makes it glow bright.
