I just purchased a new washer and dryer. There are 3 small dents on the top of the washer. Even though I did get a good discount, I’m finding that they really bug me. I read one response that you can remove dents from stainless steel appliances using heat then dry ice. Will this work on white appliances too?

no! you will have to take the piece that is dented of and try to pop them out, if the paint chips, many appliance store carry touch up paint for them. I know sears does. Good luck.
We have used a tool called the dent dr.It is a suction cup device used mainly for cars to "suck"out small dents, but can also work on any metal.also, heating with a blow dryer then applying lots of ice can pop small dents right out.works on our car for door dings, might work for appliances.
Only if the top is also made of steel ( it should say in the manual if not call the salesperson they should know). Your best bet is to try and pop them out (like a car). It’s not that hard, especially if the dents are really small. If the paint cracks then simply buy touch-up paint ( they also sell them for appliances).
Take Care!
