Hy. I want to know what is the cheapest heating systems in different countries?
I want to know what heating system is cheapest in different countries. For example in my country the cheapest is wood or pellets but they have few inconveniences as transport, heavy work for preparing, not very long autonomy, etc.The best price for heating and very comfortable is natural gas, but is a little bit more expensive then wood, and the most expensive are electricity and LPG. I want to know if in your countries are the same or there are differences.

Prices are similar here, but if you are willing to put up a larger investment up front, geothermal heating is the best way to go. It basically consists of running tubes into the ground and a fan that pulls up 52 degree air from underground. There is a small electric vent heater inline to get you up to 70 plus degrees, but it is VERY efficient. A friend of mine has this system, and his gas bill was $450 a month with natural gas, now in winter and summer he heats and cools this way and his electric bill is never over $100 a month. It cost $15,000 to get installed though, but it paid for itself in 6 years.
