If a home has radiators, what type of heating system does it use?
I am looking to buy a home and now realize that I don’t know ANYTHING when it comes to heating systems. A home I looked at recently was very nice but used radiators, I am wondering if a home like this could be converted to use a thermostat.
Do home heating systems run on a cycle or do they run until the home reaches a certain temperature?
My mother and I were having an argument about the thermostat, however neither one of us are professionals so it would be nice to get some background information on how home heating systems work.
